My Tiger Boxer 250RS Experience

<img width="200" height="128" class="floatleft" src="motorcycle.in.th/images/articles/My_Tiger_Boxer_250RS_Experience_1.jpg" alt="" />I like the article about the Tiger Boxer 250RS, a Sunday morning blaster doesn't need to be immensely powerful, particularly light, exceptionally well-built or exotic. It needs to be fun, enthusiastic and a pleasure to ride. And thankfully the Tiger Boxer 250RS is all of those. The single 250cc power source is purring as a kitten and makes the same calming noises, but it revs keenly, and the sounds from below change quickly in a that of a Tiger and goes loping down the road with vim, vigor and other words probably better not say.

You'd almost think it was a bigger bike. And the chassis is light, flickable and easy to control - there will be handling limitations on any budget bike, but it'll take more than lazy Sunday riding to expose them on the Tiger Boxer 250RS.
As a riding, engine and chassis package, the Tiger Boxer 250RS is well-balanced. As a Sunday blast tool for casual riders, it ain't no Kawasaki Ninja 250R.. which, in my case, is probably a good thing. Fun. This bike is all about the fun of riding a motorcycle.

The Tiger Boxer 250RS is pillion-friendly and the soft seat, low pegs and comfortable grab-rails should equal a great pillion ride. But while the seat is spacious and comfortable enough for longer trips, and the nicely spaced footpegs give roomy ergonomic body position, it doesn't work out as well as I'd hoped. There's little protection from the relentless wind and the grab-rails are in a position that puts too much weight through your arms. So that is one project that I need to work on in the near future.

For now let it be Sunday again...and again...

Where specifically can you buy a Tiger motorcycle in Bangkok?

I believe that there is a dealership near Chatuchak in Bangkok and another just south of Bangkok. Also , I am told, that there is a dealership
in Petchaburi south of Bangkok which is nearer for me. Unfortunately it appears that they do not have a Tiger Boxer to show me, apparently
they are too expensive to stock!!

Unfortunately they do not seem to want to sell these beautiful bikes and I am desperate to sit on one - if they don't make some sort of effort
then I will be forced to buy a Honda Phantom!
