Honda has identified a problem with the Honda VT750, the problem is that engine vibration may cause the bank angle sensor wire to rub on the wire harness joint connector, resulting in a loss of the sensor signal.

Without the bank angle sensor signal, the engine may stall while riding, increasing the risk of a crash.

The Honda VT750 was never officially imported by Honda Thailand and therefore Thai Honda dealers will not offer mechanical service or replacement parts.

The Honda VT750 models affected are the 2012 to 2014 Honda VT750CA, VT750C2 and VT750C2F, the 2011 to 2016 Honda VT750C, and the 2013 to 2016 Honda VT750CS, also the 2010 to 2016 VT70C2B and the 2013 to 2014 Honda VT750C2S models.

We have seen several of this motorcycles for sale in Thailand over the last few years, so we advise owners to check how to fix the problem.
