The Ducati Multistrada 1200 and the Benelli Tre1130K are both motorcycles targeting the same market. And to me the showdown is like this; while Ducati with its Multistrada tries to impress potential buyers will more power and more gadgets, Benelli is clearly following a different path, as the engine has not got any serious performance boost in years and it seems that Benelli is more concentrated to riders comfort, if you read most reviews about the two you will read that you could easily ride plus 1000 kilometers without any problems while the Ducati is seriously less comfortable....

Also, with a motorcycle like the Ducati Multistrada and the Benelli Tre1130K how much horsepower do you need? Yes, the latest Ducati Multistrada has more power, but how safe would it be to rush any mountain in Thailand at speeds over 140km/h? Which they both capable without any afford (just a twist of the throttle)....

The Ducati Multistrada 1200S (the model most comparable) costs around 1,2 million THB, while the Benelli Tre1130K costs according to the suggested retail price 727,000 THB.
