Suzuki Japan introduced yesterday on the Japanese market the new Suzuki GSR250, the model seems with specifications very similar to the Suzuki GW250. With the Japanese GSR250 introduction we also learned the official Suzuki model number, the Suzuki JBK-GJ55D.

The engine is a 248cc parallel twin with a 53.5mm bore and 55.2mm stroke, which produces a compression ratio of 11.5:1. The performance figures seem very comparable with the Kawasaki Ninja 250R.

Suzuki motorcycles has unveiled the Inazuma 250 for some of the countries in the European Union. It is marketed as a commuter bike there and could be brought to Thailand as the Suzuki GW250 or GSR250...

According to Paul de Lusignan, spokes person Suzuki UK, the 2012 Suzuki Inazuma boasts of a 4-stroke 248cc engine which will deliver a best in class fuel efficiency of 30.48kmpl, which according to Suzuki is 14.4kmpl more than the current 250cc leader.

Without a doubt with current 250cc market leader, Suzuki means the Kawasaki Ninja 250R
