For 2012 Moto2 season the Thai motorcycle racing star Ratthapark Wilairot, has moved from the SAG Moto2 team to the Moto2 Gresini Honda team. He will be riding a Moriwaki MD600.

I hope Ratthapark Wilairot has more success with this more professional team

RATTHAPARK WILAIROT

Born Chonburi (Thailand) 14th April 1988

Ratthapark Wilairot enters his sixth season at World Championship level in 2012 as he continues his career in the Moto2 class. It's a career that almost ended prematurely following a serious road accident in his home town shortly before Christmas in 2010 but last year he made a miraculous recovery and return to competitive action.

Wilairot made his Grand Prix debut in the 250cc class in 2007 with the Thai Honda PTT SAG team after impressing as a wildcard with tenth place at the Grand Prix of Japan. In his first season on board the 'A kit' Honda RS250R Wilairot managed to pick up 30 points and finish seventeenth overall. He finished thirteenth in the championship for the next two seasons before the change to a new format in Moto2 gave him the opportunity to score his first podium at Assen. Rattapark made his return from injury to make 14 appearances in 2011 riding the FTR machine with Team SAG and this year he will look to go from strength to strength onboard the Moriwaki machine with Team Gresini.
