The adding of ethanol to the fuel at the petrol stations is not something what happened yesterday. Maybe you're a returning rider and did not visit a petrol station in Thailand for a few years.
Anyway, our best guess is that performance differences would be negligible, but engine internals might complain of extended use of ethanol fuels over time. Best to check with your motorcycle dealer or manufacturer to find out if your motorcycle can run safely with ethanol fuels.
I've noticed lately that most of the petrol stations have been adding 10 percent ethanol decals to their pumps. Myself, as well as other readers, would perhaps like to see a performance comparison between motorcycles run with and without the ethanol blend. It seems like we're all going to get screwed into putting this crap in our tanks eventually.
