History of the Exhibition

AUTO series of Automotive Exhibitions were started in the year 1992 as a Auto Components and Accessories fair. The response to the event was overwhelming. Hence the organizing committee decided to hold such exhibitions at Pune once in every two years. With repeated requests from everyone concerned, it was decided to include the vehicles (both two and four wheelers) in the display section.

With the qualitative and quantitative growth of participation, both in terms of exhibitors and visitors, the event has achieved remarkable success. Today, ‘AUTO’ is regarded as the largest buyer – seller meet in Western India.
