A Heritage of innovation on two-wheels: eCRP

The green technology made-in-Italy, 13th of January 2010 - Launch at the presence of the Minister for Science and Innovation, Hon Lord Drayson, eCRP 1.0 is a jewel of technology and Italian design built for the clean emission zero carbon World Championship TTXGP .

As a pure racing motorcycle, it is compact and the dimensions allow for it to be ridden by men, women and young riders.

eCRP is the electric motorcycle of CRP Racing, an established constructor of racing motorcycles, such as the two-stroke 125cc based on Honda and 250cc and Moto2.

The eCRP main IT characteristics are:

  • IP connectivity
  • Operating system open source Linux
  • USB based system BUS allows virtually unlimited number of peripherals to extend the capabilities of the machine with plug’n’play
  • The Frame of the eCRP is the result of years of experience that CRP Racing has in the world of 250cc and 125cc: understanding the need to balance the handling of the vehicle, through the study of the weight and stiffness, as it interacts with the suspension.
eCRP is particularly light thanks to materials and technologies used in construction, many coming from high-performing sectors like F1 and aerospace.

Different range configurations according to championship. It is possible to change the configuration of the eCRP from one set-up to another. A service that CRP Racing will offer to customers.

Price: starting from 30.000 Euros for racing configuration (40 km).

CRP Racing, founded in 2006, is a young and dynamic Italian company that brings on track real high-tech two-wheels vehicles. Since 2007 it take part in Italian Road Racing Championship, Honda Trophy and a few Italian MotoGP wild-cards with its team. In 2010 CRP Racing becomes the first Italian constructor of electric motorcycles for the clean emission World Championship TTXGP with its eCRP.
