The Yamaha YZF-R15 as Little Track Bike

The Yamaha YZF-R15, I never really saw much sense in having a track-oriented motorcycle on the street. The seating position is rather cramped for a taller rider like me and the handlebar span is a tad narrow for someone with a wide-set chest.

Plus during my daily peak-hour commute, you end up braking a little more than you actually throttle. This puts immense pressure on the wrists and turns out to be rather painful.

However, if you ride the Yamaha YZF-R15 the way it was designed to be, it turns out to be possible the most fun smaller-displacement motorcycle there is. Minor weight shift inputs make maneuvering this little racer quite an easy task.
The Yamaha YZF-R15 isn't as trigger-happy as its larger brother the Yamaha YZF-R3, but with a wide rev range and intelligently planned gear ratios, but whack that throttle open and the Yamaha YZF-R15 starts to make a lot more sense.Tag: Yamaha YZF-R15 150cc Sportbike Single-Cylinder Small-Capacity Race-Track
