The Honda CBF-250 the All-round Bike

By some believed to replace the aging Honda CBR-150R, the Honda CBF-250, or CBX-250 as the model is named in the American market, is powered by a single cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC 4-valve 249cc engine, with a 73mm bore and 59.5mm stroke, producing a 9.3:1 compression ratio.

The new Honda CBF-250 takes up where the venerable Honda CB-250 left off. For over a decade, the Honda CB-250 enjoyed excellent sales owing to its low purchase and running costs, stable performance and almost bullet-proof reliability. But, due to new Euro emissions regulations, the much-loved model had to be discontinued in 2003. The new Honda CBF-250 has been given an all-new sporty look and an all-new engine to assure that this model's success continues. The first major development is the new air-cooled engine. This is the first new air-cooled 250cc engine Honda has developed for over a decade and features six speeds and electric start for easy use around town.
The Honda CBF design is simply but sophisticated almost retro styling, the Honda CBF250 is a motorcycle from the all-round Category, that will carry you to the fun filled heart of the motorcycling experience. With the Honda Electronic Advance Digital Transistorized ignition the 250cc engine is capable of producing 21 horsepower at 8000rpm, 22Nm at 6,000rpm, the Honda CBF-250 is the perfect daily companion. The Honda CBF-250's engine uses its 249cc wisely with an easily accessible powerband, better performance where the urban rider needs it rather than purely at peak power.

The wide-ratio quick-shifting six-speed constant mesh transmission with a primary reduction 3.100 and final final reduction 2.846 with a cable-actuated mechanical operated multiple plate wet clutch with coil springs

The exhaust system features a large, newly developed catalytic heat tube installed at the front of the silencer, which more effectively scrubs down emissions of carbon monoxide, nitrous oxides and hydrocarbons to achieve cleaner exhaust that easily passes Europe's EURO-3 emissions regulations.

The Honda CBF-250 has also been given a complete modern styling and slightly stepped seat for increased pillion comfort, the lightweight chassis and impeccable handling are also specially configured for exciting yet confident control. With a 1370mm wheelbase and a 37mm telescopic fork front suspension, 130mm axle travel, and rear adjustable monoshock suspension with 100mm axle travel the Honda CBF-150 is a pleasant drive under all conditions.

The Honda CBF-250 if it comes available in Thailand it will cost around 80,000 Baht (price is based on prices in other Southeast Asian countries with additional Thai taxes, the bike would be around the same price level as the current Honda CBR-150 if produced in Thailand)
