New Front End for your Bike

With motorcycles, and choppers especially, trying to standout of the crowd more and more people are thinking of changing the front end of there bike.

We looked at a 49mm front end, this beefy 49mm front end can be used on a custom or stock frame. It features large diameter, 4130 chrome molly steel fork tubes that improve steering input, as well as reduce fork tube flex and twist, which is a chronic problem on extended forks using stock diameter tubes.

The fork springs are progressively wound from special silicon wire, which gives a smooth, controlled ride. There's also a build-in lowering kit that allows you to fine-tune the overall length of the front end as well as the fork travel. As for the one-piece construction, solid billet, aircraft-grade, 6061-T aluminum lower legs, they feature a teardrop upper section and a four-sided tapered shape near the concealed axle covers.

And the brake and fender brackets are part of the lower legs, not bolted on. This front end comes with wide glide-style, solid billet, aircraft-grade, 6061-T aluminum triple trees, which have full radius styling and a new wraparound pinch bolt system.

These trees will accept internal fork stops and are machined to 25.06cm, center-to-center (CTC). Raked trees are also available. This front end is available in chrome or a polished black anodized finish, in a single- or dual-disc configuration. You can get it in standard lengths for stock Harley-Davidson frames, as well as up to 25.4cm over for chopper applications. Even longer custom lengths are available by special order.
