MotoGP Returns to Brazil in 2014


Dorna announced the MotoGP series' return to South America as MotoGP prepares to return to Brazil's Autodromo Internacional Nelson Piquet Brsilla in 2014.

The race circuit is located in Brasília, the capital of Brazil. With 5.476 km of length, the name of the circuit was originally Autódromo de Brasília at the establishment in 1974, but later changed to the current name
Pending FIM holologation, 2014 will mark MotoGP's first visit since 2004 which was known as the Rio Grand Prix.

This makes two South America visits on the 2014 calendar with the addition of the round in Argentina.
